记者询问她、对于再次封后有何感想，但话还没讲完却被珍妮佛打断说：「你不能一辈子都活在你的手机后面呀，老兄。」

记者当场愣住：「蛤？」珍妮佛继续说：「你得活在现在 (意思是要他别再用手机了)。」记者接着马上道歉。

记者继续问：「你怎么看待自己奥斯卡颁奖当晚的表现？」珍妮佛则回他：「我们现在是在金球奖…其实你放下手机就知道了。」

珍妮佛酸言酸语的口气引起现场一阵大笑，该名记者则是笑得有点尴尬。

这段记者会一曝光，很多网友看了纷纷批评珍妮佛没礼貌，并为该名记者抱不平，认为从记者的口音可以明显听出他的母语并非英语，也许需要靠手机辅助。这位网友表示：「珍妮佛劳伦斯很糟糕，那位记者的母语显然不是英语，他需要看手机确定他能正确讲出他的提问。」
